Pemanfaatan Photonovela untuk Peningkatan Kesiapsiagaan Bencana Anak Usia Sekolah

Anak usia sekolah rentan terhadap ancaman bencana, termasuk di lingkungan sekolah, sehingga perlu memahami risiko di sekitarnya. Photonovela digunakan sebagai media inovatif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran kesiapsiagaan bencana. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran anak dalam mengenali risiko bencana serta membentuk kesiapsiagaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan kesadaran anak dalam mengidentifikasi risiko serta merencanakan upaya pencegahan. Photonovela terbukti menarik dan mudah dipahami sebagai media edukasi kesiapsiagaan bencana. Keterlibatan guru direkomendasikan untuk mendukung keberhasilan dan keberlanjutan program.
